Keep in mind that Colorado is extremely scenic and many highways go over mountain passes. You may encounter slower drivers who are taking in the beautiful landscape, and/or encounter summer road construction. Please add a few minutes to each of the drive times given, to account for slower traffic.

  • Take Hwy 24 east
  • Turn left at the Hwy 24 & 285 traffic light
  • We are the fifth business on the left. The Adventure Company is located at 12847 US Hwy 24/ 285, Buena Vista, CO 81211

Breckenridge, Colorado

(1 hour)

  • Take Hwy 9 south to Fairplay
  • At the traffic light, turn right onto Hwy 285 south
  • Continue 35 minutes to a cluster of businesses called Johnson Village

Vail, Colorado

  • Take I-70 west
  • Take exit 171 towards Minturn/Leadville
  • Follow Hwy 24 east to Leadville
  • Once in Leadville, take a right at the stop sign to continue on Hwy 24 east
  • Continue on Hwy 24 east for 40 minutes
  • Once 2 miles past the town of Buena Vista, turn left at the traffic light (junction of Hwy 24 & 285) to continue on Hwy 24 east

Avon, Eagle, Gypsum, Colorado

  • Take I-70 west
  • Take exit 171 towards Minturn/Leadville

Leadville, Copper Mountain, Frisco, Silverthorne, Dillon, Colorado

(45 minutes to 1.75 hours)

  • Turn off I-70 at exit 195 (Copper Mountain/ Leadville exit)
  • Take Hwy 91 south through Leadville (turns into Hwy 24 east)
  • Continue on Hwy 24 east until you are two miles past Buena Vista (about 40 minutes from Leadville)
  • Once past Buena Vista, take a left at the stop light to continue on Hwy 24

  • Take I-70 west to C-470 east (towards Colorado Springs) to Hwy 285 south all the way to Johnson Village

  • Take Hwy 6 north to I-70 west
  • Exit 195 (Copper Mountain/ Leadville exit)
  • Take Hwy 91 south through Leadville (turns into Hwy 24 east)
  • Continue on Hwy 24 east until you are two miles past Buena Vista (about 40 minutes from Leadville)

Crested Butte, Colorado over Cottonwood Pass

(Currently Closed)

  • Please note that Cottonwood Pass will be closed until the fall of 2018
  • Take Hwy 135 to CR 742 and take a left
  • Then take a right onto CR 209 in Taylor Park
  • That road turns in to CR 306 at the top of cottonwood pass, continue all the way to Buena Vista
  • Take a Right on to 24 east in Buena Vista at the stop light. Continue on Hwy 24 east two miles past Buena Vista
  • Turn left at the traffic light to continue on Hwy 24 east
  • We are the fifth business on the left. The Adventure Company: 12847 US Hwy 24/ 285, Buena Vista, CO 81211

Salida, Colorado

(30 minutes)

  • Take Hwy 50 west to 285 north
  • Watch for the sign for 285 north to Denver, turn right and we are the fifth building on the left
  • Our office is located at: 12847 Hwy 24/ 285, Buena Vista, CO 81211
  • We are located 2 miles south of Buena Vista in Johnson Village. If you get to Buena Vista, you’ve gone too far. It should take you approximately 30 minutes.

Aspen, Colorado

  • Take CO-82 then turn left onto east Cooper Ave/ CO-82 and continue to follow CO-82
  • Take a right onto US 24, then continue into Buena Vista (about 20 minutes)
  • Take Hwy 24 east two miles past Buena Vista

Cañon City, Colorado

(1.5 hours)

  • Take Hwy 50 west out of Cañon City through Salida, merging right onto Hwy 285 north
  • From Salida, travel approximately 25 miles and merge right onto the Hwy 24/ 285 junction. Continue for about 15 minutes
  • We are located two miles south of Buena Vista (if you get to Buena Vista, you have gone too far) at The Adventure Company: 12847 US Hwy 24/ 285, Buena Vista, CO 81211

Boulder, Colorado

  • Take CO-93 south (will become US-6 east)
  • Merge onto CO-470 east
  • Then take US-285 south
  • You will pass through Fairplay (at this point you will be about 30 minutes from our location) and the next cluster of businesses past Fairplay is called Johnson Village

  • From Breckenridge: Drive 15 minutes north on Hwy 9 to Frisco. (Hwy 9 turns into N Summit Blvd) Take a right on Dillon Dam Road (the last light before the interstate). Grand Hotel Frisco will be on your right at 1129 Summit Blvd. Frisco, CO 80443.
