Fishing Expeditions

Colorado is home to several Gold Medal streams including the Blue River and the Colorado River.  These are designated by the Colorado Wildlife Commission as providing great spots to catch large trout.  The Arkansas River is one of Colorado’s major rivers and also provides miles and miles of excellent fishing.  This river is famous for the Mother’s Day Caddis Hatch, when anglers from all around come looking for hungry Brown Trout snacking on the caddis flies.

    *All individuals going on a fishing trip must acquire a Colorado Fishing License before the check in time. You can do this online with the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Information will be gathered by the CODW and the license mailed to you in advance. Guests may also purchase a license at the City Market in Buena Vista (open 8am to 9pm).

    The fine print:  Packages are not good with any other special or discount. Taxes not included in package price. All trips go rain or shine. Minimum numbers may apply.
