The following are directions to our office in Buena Vista:

The Adventure Company and A Bed on the Arkansas
12847 US Hwy 24 & 285
Buena Vista, CO 81211

*Keep in mind that Colorado is extremely scenic and many highways go over mountain passes. You may encounter slower drivers who are taking in the beautiful landscape. Please add a few minutes to each of the drive times given to account for slower traffic.

Buena Vista (All Arkansas River trips except the Royal Gorge):

Take Hwy 24 east.
Our main office is 2 miles southeast of Buena Vista in Johnson Village.
PLEASE NOTE: Turn left at the traffic light (Junction of 24 & 285) to continue on Hwy 24 east.
We are the fifth building on the left. The Adventure Company, 12847 US Hwy 24 & 285.

Breckenridge (1 hour):

Hwy 9 south to Fairplay.
At the traffic light, turn right onto Hwy 285 south.
Drive 35 minutes to a cluster of businesses called Johnson Village.
We are the third business on the right. The Adventure Company, 12847 US Hwy 24 & 285, Buena Vista, Colorado 81211.

Vail ( 1 Hour 30 Mins):

Take I-70 west.
Exit 171 towards Minturn/Leadville.
Follow Hwy 24 east to Leadville.
In Leadville take a right at the stop sign to continue on Hwy 24 east.
Continue on Hwy 24 east just two miles south of Buena Vista.
PLEASE NOTE: Turn left at the traffic light (Junction of 24 & 285) to continue on Hwy 24 east.

Avon, Eagle, Gypsum ( 1 hour 15 mins to 1 hour 45 mins):

Take I-70 east.
Exit 171 towards Minturn/Leadville.
Follow Hwy 24 east to Leadville. In Leadville take a right at the stop sign to stay on Hwy 24 east.
Continue on Hwy 24 east two miles south of Buena Vista.

Leadville, Copper Mountain, Frisco, Silverthorne, Dillon (45 minutes to 1.75 hours):

Turn off I-70 at exit 195 (Copper Mountain/Leadville exit).
Take Hwy 91 south through Leadville (turns into Hwy 24 east).
Continue on Hwy 24 east two miles past Buena Vista.
PLEASE NOTE: You must turn left at the traffic light to continue on Hwy 24 east.

Denver (2 to 2.5 hours):

I-70 West to C-470 east (towards Colorado Springs) to Hwy 285 south to Johnson Village.
We are the third business on the right. The Adventure Company, 12847 US Hwy 24 & 285, Buena Vista, Colorado 81211.

Colorado Springs (1.5 hours):

Hwy 24 west to Johnson Village.
We are the 3rd business on the right. The Adventure Company, 12847 US Hwy 24 & 285, Buena Vista, Colorado 8121

Salida:

Hwy 50 West to 285 North.
WATCH FOR SIGN FOR 285 NORTH TO DENVER, turn right we are the fifth building on the left.
Our office is located at: 12847 Hwy 24 & 285, Buena Vista, CO 81211, 2 miles South of Buena Vista in Johnson Village. (If you get to Buena Vista, you’ve gone too far. It should take you approximately 30 minutes.) The Adventure Company, 12847 US Hwy 24 & 285, Buena Vista, Colorado 81211.

Keystone:

Take Hwy 6 North to I-70 West.
Exit 195, (Copper Mountain/Leadville exit).
Take Hwy 91 south through Leadville (turns into Hwy 24 east).
Continue on Hwy 24 east 2 miles past Buena Vista.
PLEASE NOTE: You must turn left at the traffic light to continue on Hwy 24 east.

Crested Butte over Cottonwood Pass:

Please check these with a map if you can.
Take Hwy 135 to CR 742 take a left on that road.
Then take a Right on to CR 209 in Taylor Park.
That road turns in to CR 306 at the top of cottonwood pass.
Take a Right on to 24 E in Buena Vista at the Stop Light. Continue on Hwy 24 east 2 miles past Buena Vista.
PLEASE NOTE: You must turn left at the traffic light to continue on Hwy 24 east.

Aspen:

Take CO-82 then turn left onto E Cooper Ave/CO-82 and continue to follow CO-82.
Take a right onto US 24, then continue into Buena Vista /Hwy 24 east 2 miles past Buena Vista.

Canon City:

Take Hwy 50 to Salida, then in Salida take Hwy 50 West to 285 North.
WATCH FOR SIGN FOR 285 NORTH TO DENVER, turn right we are the fifth building on the left.
Our office is located at: 12847 Hwy 24 & 285, Buena Vista, CO 81211, 2 miles South of Buena Vista in Johnson Village. (If you get to Buena Vista, you’ve gone too far.

Telluride (4 hr. 10 mins):

Exit onto CO-145 SPUR.
CO-145 SPUR becomes CO-145.
Turn RIGHT onto CO-62
Turn LEFT onto US-550 N.
Turn RIGHT onto E MAIN ST/US-50.
Continue to follow US-50, Turn LEFT onto US-285 Take Hwy 285 North.
WATCH FOR SIGN FOR 285 NORTH TO DENVER, turn right we are the fifth building on the left. Our office is located at: 12847 Hwy 24 & 285, Buena Vista, CO 81211, 2 miles South of Buena Vista in Johnson Village.

Boulder (2.5 hours):

Take CO-93 South (will become US-6 E).
Merge onto CO-470 East.
Then take US-285 South.
You will pass through Fairplay (at this point you will be about 30 minutes from our location) and the next cluster of businesses is called Johnson Village.

Durango:

US-160 East to Del Norte, turn left on C-112 to US 285.
Turn left on US 285 North. 2 Miles before Buena Vista, WATCH FOR SIGN FOR 285 NORTH TO DENVER, turn right we are the fifth building on the left.

Tiger Run (1 hr. 20 minutes.):

Turn left at CO-9 S.
Continue onto Main St. Continue onto CO-9 S.
Turn right to stay on CO-9 S.
Turn left to stay on CO-9 S.
Take Hwy 9 south to Fairplay.
At the traffic light, turn right onto Hwy 285 south.
Drive 35 minutes to a cluster of businesses called Johnson Village.
We are the 3rd business on the right.

Take Hwy 285 South.

Breckenridge (Browns & Numbers Express Trips meeting in Breckenridge):

Carvers Ski Board & Sports: 203 North Main Street Breckenridge, CO 80424
Carvers is the 3rd building south of where Watson meets N. Main Street on the west side on  N. Main St.
From I-70: Take exit 230, Frisco.
At the roundabout continue going south where it turns into N. Main St.

Frisco(All Colorado River & Blue River trips, Browns & Numbers Express trips meeting in Frisco):

Best Western Lake Dillon Lodge
From I-70: Exit 203 Frisco, Take a right at the First light, Lusher Court. Best Western Lake Dillon Lodge. 1202 Summit Blvd. Frisco, CO 80443.
From Breckenridge: Drive 15 minutes north on Hwy 9 to Frisco. (Hwy 9 turns into N Summit Blvd) Take a left on Lusher Court. (the last light before the interstate). Best Western Lake Dillon Lodge 1202 Summit Blvd, Frisco, CO 80443.

Canon City (Royal Gorge trips):

Centennial Park, Train Depot parking lot, Canyon City, Meet in the parking lot behind the Train Depot.
From Hwy 50 turn onto 3rd Street and turn left into that parking lot.

Idaho Springs (All Clear Creek trips):

Cooper Riley Park, Colorado St. – Idaho Springs, CO 80452.
Take I-70 to exit 241A.
Drive 3/4 of a mile, Cooper Riley Park is on the right.

Denver to Canon City:

Take I-25 to Colorado Springs, Exit on 140 to CO-Hwy 115 Turn Right to Canon City.
Exit on to Hwy 50 West.
Go thru Canon City to 3rd St. Centennial Park, Train Depot parking lot, Canyon City, Meet in the parking lot behind the Train Depot.
From Hwy 50 turn onto 3rd Street and turn left into that parking lot.
