Royal Gorge rafting combines famous Class IV rapids like Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer and Wall Slammer with incredible, sheer canyon scenery. If you are not already out of breath from the Class IV paddling, looking up at the narrow and steep gorge walls will surely take your breath away. This world famous trip takes you under the world’s highest suspension bridge while paddling over steep drops and huge waves. 1,000 feet below the rim of the canyon, the Arkansas River provides a classic rafting expedition for the white water veterans or the adrenaline-seeking first timers.
